Qatar Chamber (QC) will be sending a trade delegation, including 55 businessmen representing various economic and business sectors, to Kuwait on a two-day business trip starting Tuesday, January 23, the Chamber announced in a press statement on Saturday.
The delegation will be led by QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al Thani, the statement added.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Qatari-Kuwaiti Business Forum will be held, aiming to strengthening cooperation between the two countries, increase trade exchange, explore investment opportunities, and establish trade and business alliances between Qatari businessmen and their counterparts from Kuwait.
The forum will be jointly inaugurated by Sheikh Khalifa and Chairman of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Mohamed al Ghanim.
The forum will include many discussion sessions, B2B meetings, presentations highlighting the Kuwait Vision 2035 and the Qatar National Vision 2030, and public-private projects and investment opportunities in both countries, the statement added.
Sheikh Khalifa praised the efforts of Kuwait during the time of crisis.
"This visit reflects deep and robust relations between the two countries. It will enhance cooperation ties among businessmen." he said.
Qatari businessmen have a strong desire to build partnerships and alliances with their Kuwaiti counterparts, he added.
