Qatar Chess Training Center U-16 C’ship held successfully

The monthly Qatar Chess Training Center U-16 Championship, held under the supervision of Qatar Chess Federation, concluded with the participation of 40 players in the presence of Mohammed Al Madhahka, President of the Qatar Chess Federation. Indian player Alan Bijou emerged the winner with 5 points, while India’s Jayaditya Jantayt, and Pranav Pradeep finished second and third. Noah Nizar (also from India) was the best U12 player, and Talib Dahman the best Qatari player. The U-10 category was won by Indian Krishna Tisjaswi. The youngest Qatari participant was Asma Al Hammadi. Yousef Muhammad Al Mutawa, Secretary-General, Qatar Chess Federation congratulated and crowned the winners. (TNN)
