DOHA: Ambassador of Qatar to the Hellenic Republic HE Ali bin Khalfan Al Mansouri has said that the visit of Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic HE Kyriakos Mitsotakis to Doha emphasizes the strength of the relations between the two friendly countries, adding that the visit represents a significant opportunity for political dialogue and exchanging views on recent developments in regional and international positions.
The ambassador underlined the joint efforts of both countries to resolve international problems and conflicts through diplomatic means and to adhere to the principles of the United Nations Charter and multilateral international relations.
He added that the visit underscores the keenness of both countries to enhance their bilateral relations and their desire to expand and strengthen this cooperation to include new areas and perspectives to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples and contribute to enhancing regional and international peace and security.
The envoy pointed out that both countries have a strong desire to enhance and diversify cooperation in all fields, especially since they both witness continuous economic growth, and there is a mutual desire and wide-ranging potential to develop partnerships, particularly in the fields of energy, investment, trade, transportation, culture, education, tourism, and sports.
