Commercial Bank has announced a special offer for money transfers made to bank accounts in Sri Lanka, using Commercial Bank's simple, secure and convenient Mobile and Internet Banking service to celebrate the country's 70th Independence Day.
This online remittance service is available for transfers to 27 banks in Sri Lanka and customers can send money which is usually received in less than 60 seconds. Commercial Bank's competitive exchange rates will apply from February 1 to February 15.
The funds transfer fee is free. The standard bank charges from the receiving bank will still apply.
Commercial Bank's Head of Consumer Banking, Amit Sah, said,"I wish all Sri Lankans a happy Independence Day. Sri Lankans can send money home at any time with funds being credited almost instantly through our innovative digital platforms. Our standard transfer fee is free."
To make a transfer, customers can simply log-in to Internet Banking or download Commercial Bank's Mobile Banking App from their app store.
