ALGIERS: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met on Saturday with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran HE DrEbrahim Raisi, on the margin of the 7th Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them.
They also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to regional and international developments of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and severalmembers of the official delegation.
On the Iranian side, the meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and several senior officials.
