Whale Sharks can be seen feeding in large groups off the northern coast of Qatar in the Arabian Gulf as they migrate to the area annually. With trips being added to every Friday and Saturday through the end of August, guests will now have the chance to see this phenomenon on the Daily Explorer, starting at QR1,800 for adults and QR1,350 for children.The lifespan of whale sharks, sometimes known as “gentle giants,” is thought to be 60 million years. They have a lifespan of up to 100 years and a maximum length of 12 meters. Visitors at Discover Qatar have the choice of sightseeing from an opulent “Private Charter” yacht or a “Daily Explorer” excursion on a fast catamaran.
