DOHA: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the operating hours of its healthcare services for the Holy Month of Ramadan, with changes affecting several services.
In a press release, HMC said that all ambulance and emergency services across HMC's network, including Pediatric Emergency Centers, will continue to operate as normal, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The outpatient clinics will operate two shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm and 8pm to 10pm. Additional evening clinics for audiology and balance, ENT, ophthalmology, and urology (Ambulatory Care Center) will operate from 1pm to 4pm Sunday, Monday and Wednesday; for orthopaedics (Bone and Joint Center) from 1pm to 4pm Sunday to Wednesday; and for bariatrics (Hamad General Hospital) from 8.30pm to 11.30pm Sunday to Wednesday.
HMC Nesma'ak Customer Service allows patients to manage upcoming appointments at HMC facilities i.e. changing or cancelling. The Nesmaak Customer Service helpline, 16060 will continue to operate 24 hours a day seven days a week. National Healthcare Helpline number: 16000 continues to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service can be accessed by calling: 16000.
HMC Urgent Consultation Service: Physician-led service offers patients a range of healthcare services, including non-emergency medical consultations, prescription refills and home delivery. Ramadan service hours: 8am to 1pm (Sunday - Thursday) Regarding Mental Health Helpline, the Helpline will operate 8am to 4pm, Saturday to Thursday.
HMC Pharmacy Medication Delivery will operate from 8am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday.
Qatar National Blood Donor Center will operate from Sunday to Thursday 8am to 1pm (for non-Muslim donors) and 6pm to 12 midnight, and on Saturday: 6pm to 12 midnight.
Clinical Imaging Call Center will continue to operate as usual from Sunday to Thursday from 8am to 6pm, and on Saturday from 8am to 2pm. Patients can call or WhatsApp this service at 4439 3377.
