Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara recently hosted members of the media at a special gathering to reveal the five-star resort's multitude world-class recreational and entertainment venues.
During the media tour, the invitees were taken on an extensive tour of the resort, where they were introduced to Anantara's world-class facilities with a true Arabian luxury hideaway with 141 rooms, suites, pool villas and over water villas.
Enjoying the exceptional atmosphere of the only Indian Ocean-like resort in the heart of the Middle-East, the special tour offered visitors an opportunity to experience the Wellness Centre, which offers a holistic approach to health and well-being with diverse treatment menu that captures the warmth of traditional Qatari culture and a truly personalised approach to wellbeing, including private facial treatments, pedicure and manicure, soothing steam and bathing experiences (traditional Turkish Hammam, Royal Moroccan bath, in-villa slumber guru experience, and many more).
The guests then tried their sporting skills in the bowling alleys and experienced a collection of culinary specialties on offer at the luxury resort's five-star dining venues, where they enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at Q lounge Restaurant.
The invitees were briefed about the eight dining options that offer a mouthwatering choice of Middle Eastern, Italian and international cuisines at spectacular locations all around the island from the marina, poolside, by the shoreline and on over water decks with tranquil views and soft sea breezes.
They also toured the Al Nahham, which offers a blend of Arabic Mediterranean cuisine and is the flagship restaurant of the resort.
