DOHA: The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued a forecast indicating cloudy weather from Sunday onwards, with a likelihood of moderate to heavy rain, potentially accompanied by thunderstorms, particularly on Monday and Tuesday.
Strong winds with gusts exceeding 45 knots are expected, along with the possibility of hail, the Met office added in a social media post.
Residents are advised to take precautions and adhere to safety guidelines during thunderstorms.
