Qatar’s ports handle over 235,000 tonnes of general and bulk cargo during April

DOHA: Mwani Qatar has said that Qatar’s ports handled over 235,000 tonnes of general and bulk cargo during April, registering an increase of 69 percent compared to March’s figures.

RORO units recorded a growth of 75 percent to reach more than 10,000 units, the company said in a social media post.

In April, Doha Port, Hamad Port and Ruwais Port received 192 vessels.

The ports handled 87,005 containers while 19,573 heads of livestock and 23,932 tonnes of building materials passed through them.
