QATAR signed a partnership agreement with United Nations Institute for Training and Research (Unitar), aiming to train and develop diplomats' skills in developing countries.
The signing ceremony was attended by Foreign Ministry's Secretary-General HE Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al Hammadi, UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Humanitarian Affairs HE Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Muraikhi and Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Institute Head HE Dr Abdulaziz al Horr.
The agreement was signed in Geneva by Qatar's permanent representative to the UN HE Ambassador Ali Khalfan al Mansouri from the Qatari side and UN Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director of Unitar Nikhil Seth, from the UN's side. (QNA/Doha)
