His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronised the opening of the 4th edition of Qatar Economic Forum (QEF), Powered by Bloomberg, which is held under the theme “A World Remade: Navigating the Year of Uncertainty” at Katara Towers - Fairmont Doha and Raffles Doha - on Tuesday.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani delivered the opening address.

HH the Amir welcomed the guests of the fourth Qatar Economic Forum, stressing that the forum has become a global platform for presenting constructive ideas.

In a post on His Highness’ official account on X, HH the Amir welcomed the guests of the fourth Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg, wishing them success in crystalizing the results of this significant forum, which has become a global platform for presenting constructive ideas on global economic and geopolitical issues as well as presenting innovative proposals to overcome the challenges presented.

HH the Amir attended the inaugural panel discussion with Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, a panel with President of the Republic of Poland HE Andrzej Duda, and another panel with Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr HE Anwar Ibrahim.

The opening was attended by President of the Republic of Poland HE Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Palau HE Surangel Whipps Jr., President-elect and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia Gen. Prabowo Subianto, and Prime Minister of Malaysia HE Dr Anwar Ibrahim.

Also present were Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, a number of ministers representing sisterly and friendly countries, and heads of the diplomatic missions accredited to the state, alongside high-ranking officials, parliamentarians, thinkers, economists, businessmen, media, and representatives of regional and international organisations.
