DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received at the Amiri Diwan President-elect and Minister of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia HE Gen Prabowo Subianto, and Vice President-elect HE Gibran Rkapuming Raka, and the delegation accompanying them, on the occasion of their visit to participate in the fourth Qatar Economic Forum.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Highness the Amir renewed his congratulations to the Indonesian President-elect on his victory in the presidential elections, wishing him success in his duties, and further development and growth in relations between the two countries.
For his part, Gen Subianto expressed his thanks to His Highness the Amir for his congratulations and the warm welcome and good reception, wishing His Highness good health and wellness, continued success, and the State of Qatar further progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, they reviewed the strong relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them in various fields, in addition to exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by severalministers and senior officials.
