DOHA: Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani met with Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries of the Republic of Ecuador HE Sonsoles Garcia Leon, on the sidelines of the fourth Qatar Economic Forum.
During the meeting, they discussed topics of common concern that aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the trade, investment, and industrial fields. In addition, they exchanged views on topics on the forum's agenda.
The Minister of Commerce and Industry highlighted the successful economic policies established by Qatar to support the private sector, indicating the incentives, legislation, and promising opportunities available in the country aimed at encouraging investors, businesspersons, and company owners to invest in Qatar.
