Sixty-three trainees from a number of military entities in the Ministry of the Interior and Lekhwiya with various specialties graduated from the third mandatory qualifying course for graduates of civil universities at the Police College's headquarters on Thursday.
Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani attended the graduation ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, the prime minister honoured the candidate who led in the course and handed over certificates to the graduates.
Speaking on the occasion, Course Commander Assistant First Lieutenant Saud al Tamimi praised the graduates for their constant cooperation with trainers and keenness on obtaining the best knowledge and training all the time.
The third mandatory qualifying course for graduates was organised by the College.
During the course, which lasted for six months, the graduates received various military, sports and police-related academic training under the supervision of trainers and experts in various disciplines.
A movie clip screened on the occasion showcased the training stages the graduates had gone through. The ceremony was also attended by the parents of the graduates and their families in an ambience of joy and glory.
