THE Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani received a written message from the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah, pertaining to the strong brotherly relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.
The Envoy of HH the Amir of Kuwait, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah al Khaled al Hamad al Sabah handed over the message when HH the Amir met him and the accompanying delegation at Amiri Diwan on Monday morning.
At the outset of the meeting, the Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs conveyed to HH the Amir the greetings of the Amir of Kuwait and his wishes of further progress and prosperity to the people of Qatar.
For his part, HH the Amir entrusted the Kuwaiti deputy premier and minister of foreign affairs with his greetings to the Amir of Kuwait, and his wishes of further development and growth to the brotherly people of Kuwait.
Later in the afternoon, Kuwait's deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs left Doha and was seen off upon departure at Hamad International Airport by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani and Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar HE Hafeez Mohammed al Ajmi.
Earlier, in the morning the Kuwaiti deputy prime minister was welcomed upon arrival at Hamad International Airport by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
