DOHA: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for Tuesday, predicting strong winds and poor horizontal visibility inshore, alongside high seas offshore.

Inshore weather will range from hot to very hot during the day, with slight to blowing dust reducing visibility to 5-9 kilometers, potentially dropping further in some areas. Conditions are expected to become milder by night.

Inshore winds will be northwesterly at speeds of 15-25 knots, with gusts reaching up to 35 knots in certain locations before decreasing to 9-19 knots by night.

Offshore, conditions will remain fine but with warnings of strong winds and high seas. Northwesterly winds will blow at 12-22 knots, with gusts up to 32 knots. The sea state inshore will range from 2-5 feet, while offshore conditions will see waves between 3-7 feet, rising to a peak of 10 feet. Visibility offshore is anticipated to be between 5-10 kilometers.

Residents and maritime operators are advised to exercise caution and stay updated with the latest weather forecasts.
