Minister of Environment and Climate Change HE Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met separately with Minister of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica Franz Tattenbach and Minister for International Development of Norway Anne Beathe Tvinnereim on Monday.
The meetings were held on the sidelines of the minister of Environment and Climate Change’s participation in the High-Level Event on Ocean Action, held in Costa Rica from June 7 to 8.
The meetings discussed international efforts to conserve oceans and use them adequately for sustainable development. The meetings also discussed ways to strengthen joint relations in protecting, preserving and supporting the environment, in addition to combating the effects of climate change.
