Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.

At the outset of the meeting, the Cabinet hailed the outcomes of the official visit made by HH the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the friendly Kingdom of the Netherlands on June 23 and 24.

The Cabinet affirmed that HH the Amir's fruitful talks with HM King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Prime Minister HE Mark Rutte had elevated the relations between the two countries to a new stage of constructive cooperation in various fields for the benefit of their friendly peoples, and strengthened the existing strategic partnership, especially in light of the two memoranda of understanding (MoU) signed during the visit.

After that, Cabinet approved a draft Cabinet decision to form the Licensing Committee in the Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

This committee is responsible for issuing licenses for real estate development, developers, and companies working in the field of property management and maintenance.

The Cabinet then approved the draft decision of the Minister of Justice to issue the executive regulations of Law No. 5 of 2024 regulating real estate registration.

It also approved joining the International Date Council (IDC).

The Cabinet then took necessary measures to ratify:

1- The Partnership Framework Agreement between Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) in the State of Qatar and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for 2024 - 2028.

2- The Core Contribution Agreement between QFFD in the State of Qatar and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to support UNICEF's regular resources for the year 2024.

3- The Agreement on the Transfer of Persons between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

The Cabinet then approved a draft MoU for cooperation in the fields of social development between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It approved a draft agreement on mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Burundi.

The Cabinet approved a draft agreement on the encouragement and protection of mutual investments between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of Djibouti.

A draft MoU for cooperation in the field of museums between the Qatar Museums in the State of Qatar and the National Museum of China in the People's Republic of China also got the Cabinet approval.

The Cabinet then approved a draft MoU for legal and judicial cooperation between the Ministry of Justice in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Thailand.

It approved the first supplemental agreement to an agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the United Nations regarding the establishment of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the State of Qatar.

The Cabinet reviewed the following topics and took the appropriate decisions thereon:

1- The 58th report on the results of the work of the National Committee for the Prohibition of Weapons from 1/1 to 30/4/2024.

2- A report on the results of the participation in the 68th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

3- A report on the results of the visit made by HE Minister of Municipality to the Sultanate of Oman to strengthen cooperation in the field of fisheries.
