Feyenoord has found a new main partner for Feyenoord Women in QTerminals. The leading international port and terminal operator, who was recently presented as Official Training Partner, is signing an agreement in De Kuip for a period of three years.

“It is of course fantastic that an international company such as QTerminals has explicitly committed itself to supporting women’s football at Feyenoord,” says commercial director Ruud van der Knaap.

“It enables us to further professionalize our facilities and high-performance environment but will also promote girls’ and women’s participation in football in Rotterdam and the surrounding area. In addition, in the long run, Feyenoord will be able to offer more women’s first team players the opportunity to become full-time instead of part-time professional athletes. This will not only help Feyenoord in realizing its sporting ambitions but is a boost to women’s football in general.”

Neville Bissett, Group Chief Executive Officer of QTerminals, is excited about the new principal partnership with Feyenoord Women.

“After becoming the Official Training Partner for Feyenoord Rotterdam, this new partnership emphasizes our dedication to nurturing local talent and promoting gender inclusivity within sports.

“QTerminals Group is committed to engaging with and supporting the communities where we operate across all our business units, and we look forward to supporting more community initiatives and programs in Rotterdam particularly and the Netherlands generally.”
