Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister toured the centre's wings, where he was briefed on the services provided by the centre, which aim to enhance therapeutic practices through clinical precision medicine.

The centre, the newest in the HMC group, aims to support and conduct precision medicine trials and provide access to precision care across all major and subspecialties provided by HMC, while supporting researchers and clinical participants in conducting clinical trials where patient safety is a priority, resulting in fundamental improvements in patient care and outcomes through research and clinical trials.

The opening of the Medical Care and Research Center also reflects HMC’s ongoing commitment to enhancing healthcare services and increasing the capacity to provide specialized care at the highest international quality levels for all residents of the country.

The centre also includes a group of high-quality clinical units, namely: the Clinical Trials Unit, which specializes in designing, conducting, and managing trials that work to explore the safety and effectiveness of a medical strategy, treatment, or use of medical devices with patients, and the Center for Clinical Precision Medicine and Genomics, which works to develop medical treatments. Especially tailored to the individual characteristics of patients, and in addition to conducting modern research and innovations, the centre is also dedicated to providing the highest levels of quality care for children by providing a pediatric intensive care unit, an intensive care unit, a children’s daycare unit and a children’s ward.
