Al Rayyan football team’s goalkeeper Saud Al Hajri has announced his retirement from the game after a successful career that lasted more than 20 years.
He will be moving to administrative work as vice president of the first team’s football staff.
Al Hajri achieved many championship titles with Al Rayyan, where he succeeded in being a part of 4 Amir Cup titles (2006, 2010, 2011, 2013), the League Championship in 2015-2016, Qatar Cup 2012, and two Sheikh Jassim Cup championships (2011-2012, 2012-2013).
Al Hajri rose through the club’s age groups before being promoted directly to the first team to become Al Rayyan’s goalkeeper.
