ASTANA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday took part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, held in the Kazakh capital, Astana, under the theme 'Strengthening Multilateral Dialogue - Striving for Sustainable Peace and Development'.
A number of heads of states and governments, and delegations, in addition to representatives of several regional and international organisations, took part in the Summit.
Members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir attended the summit along withmembers of the participating delegations, senior officials and guests of the summit.
His Highness the Amir also attended the luncheon banquet hosted by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan HR Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in honour of heads of states and governments, and participating delegations.
