The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday took part in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit, held in the Kazakh capital, Astana, under the theme ‘Strengthening Multilateral Dialogue - Striving for Sustainable Peace and Development’. Several heads of states and governments, and delegations, in addition to representatives of a number of regional and international organisations took part in the summit. Members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir attended the summit along with members of the participating delegations, senior officials and guests of the summit.
HH the Amir also attended the luncheon banquet hosted by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in honour of the heads of states and governments, and participating delegations. (QNA/Astana)
