The European Association of Aviation Training and Education Organizations (EATEO) has awarded Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA)with a token of appreciation to honour its continuous support of the work and objectives of the association.

The award was presented by Alessio Quaranta, chairman of EATEO, during the opening session of the international conference on “Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in Civil and Military Aviation”, which was held in Larnaca, Cyprus, recently.

Christos Petrou, CEO of EATEO, spoke about the long association between QAA and EATEO and expressed his appreciation for the proactive role played by QAA. The Academy has actively participated in the association’s events and contributed effectively to its vision.

Qatar Aeronautical Academy has been an active member of EATEO since 2019.

The association provides a common forum for European aviation training and aviation education providers, enabling them to contribute to aviation safety and other fields of civil aviation and to defend their common interests in European as well as international fora.

The main objective is to promote, on behalf of all members, the importance of training for flight safety and other fields of civil aviation.

QAA has attended EATEO’s international conferences annually by participating as speakers to contribute and use their platform to exchange and adopt the best practices in aviation training and education.

Captain Rajkumar Subramaniam, a pilot training instructor at QAA, delivered a presentation on the application of Artificial Intelligence within the ab-initio pilot training context during the recently held international conference Artificial Intelligence And Cybersecurity.
