Demonstrating its commitment to promoting sports nationally and supporting the country’s sports movement, Doha Bank has signed a sponsorship deal with Al Arabi Sports Club.
The agreement, part of the bank’s broader social responsibility initiatives, was signed during a ceremony held at Al Thumama Stadium on Sunday 7/7/2024 and attended by Doha Bank Group CEO Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Fahad Al Thani and Al Arabi Sports Club President Sheikh Tamim bin Fahad Al Thani.
Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Fahad Al Thani remarked that this sponsorship underscores Doha Bank’s dedication to supporting Al Arabi Sports Club’s legacy of excellence. He expressed the bank’s pride in this partnership and hoped that it would help the club achieve even greater success in Qatari sports.
Sheikh Tamim bin Fahad Al Thani, President of Al-Arabi Sports Club, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Doha Bank’s support and sponsorship of the club’s various sports teams.
He emphasised that this support will empower the club to continue its mission of attracting, developing, and nurturing top national sports talents. "This collaboration is expected to significantly boost Qatari sports on both regional and international stages,” he added.
The sponsorship agreement spans four years and covers the football, basketball, volleyball, and handball teams of one of the oldest and most popular sports clubs in the State of
Qatar.
