SARAJEVO: Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina HE President Denis Beširović received on Tuesday in Sarajevo, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater.
During the meeting, they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, and discussed developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, especially the latest developments in the joint mediation to end the war on the Strip, in addition to several of topics of common interest.
The chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed his country's appreciation for the role of Qatar and its efforts to stop atrocities in Gaza and stressed the keenness to enhance joint bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, tourism and culture.
During the meeting, he praised Qatar's resounding success in hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
For her part, the Minister of State for International Cooperation expressed her thanks and appreciation to Bosnia and Herzegovina for its supportive positions towards Qatar in international forums.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Bosnia and Herzegovina HE Meshal bin Ali Al Attiyah.
