DOHA: Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces HE Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabet inaugurated the Central Firefighting Unit Workshop, as part of the first phase of the Central Firefighting Unit projects.
The unit is the first of its kind in Qatar, as it aims to maintain, inspect and repair firefighting systems, and contains equipment for inspecting and testing firefighting systems.
The opening on Thursday was attended by several senior officers of the Armed Forces.
