THE Welfare Department of MES Indian School recently conducted a two-day session on personal hygiene for the students of KG and junior sections.
Annamma John from the Ministry of Public Health conducted the session on personal hygiene, which includes day-to-day maintenance of health and hygiene, such as regular bathing, thorough hands washing, teeth brushing and proper rinsing of mouth and wearing clean clothes.
A role play was also organised to make the training session more interesting and effective among the young students.
In her address, the school Principal Hameeda Kadar stressed the necessity of maintaining good personal hygiene practices in one's life.
Almost 1,000 students participated on both the days.
The sessions were headed by the headmistress of junior section and the coordinator of kindergarten. School nurses Gincy Wilson and Shiju Sebastian coordinated the days' programme.
