LONDON: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in collaboration with Oxford Royale Institution, is implementing the STEM-FD scientific camp from July 14 to 27, at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.

The camp aims to enhance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills in engaging and innovative ways through scientific experiments and practical activities that help students develop their skills and discover their passion for science.

At the camp, students will have the unique opportunity to learn directly from experts in the scientific field, benefiting from their valuable knowledge and experiences. This stimulating and enjoyable educational environment is designed to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills and foster linguistic and cultural communication with international students who share similar interests.

Preparations for participation in this camp included meetings with several organizers of student camps in the United Kingdom to review their programs and select the best. An orientation meeting was also held for students and parents to review travel arrangements and camp policies and address their inquiries.

In this context, the students expressed their enthusiasm for starting the camp activities, hoping it would be a significant step in preparing them for university and an opportunity to form friendships with students worldwide.

They expressed their desire to achieve the greatest benefit from the camp and actively participate in all activities that combine study and entertainment. They added that the camp represents an excellent opportunity to gain experience, which they will share with their peers upon return.

At the end of the camp, students will receive an official certificate accredited by the University of Oxford, along with a comprehensive performance evaluation card and an official graduation ceremony.
