DOHA: In the framework of cooperation between the Ministries of Interior of Qatar and Lebanon, a delegation from the Lebanese Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, headed by Brigadier Sami Nassif, Secretary of the Central Internal Security Council, visited the International Cooperation Directorate and the Police Academy on Sunday.

The visit aimed at exchanging expertise and knowledge in security and policing fields and benefiting from Qatari expertise.

During the visit, the Lebanese delegation met with Major General Nasser Youssef Al Maal, acting Director of the International Cooperation Department, and several officials from the Ministry of Interior.

The delegation also met with Brigadier Abdul Rahman Majed Al Shahin Al Sulaiti, Head of the Police Academy, during the visit to the academy's building.

During the two visits, discussions were held on ways to enhance the frameworks of security and academic cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
