DOHA: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change launched an extensive inspection campaign to monitor environmental violations in the Dukhan concession area.
The campaign continued on July 15 and 16, in coordination with the General Administration of Industrial Security of the Ministry of Interior.
The campaign, organized by the Wildlife Protection Department, monitored seven violating farmsteads and 46 overgrazing operations.
Reports were issued to the violators and they were referred to the responsible authorities.
The Wildlife Protection Department calls on citizens to preserve vegetation cover and adhere to environmental laws.
