DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has discussed with President of the French Republic HE Emmanuel Macron relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them, as well as the most prominent regional and international developments of common interest, especially developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
This came during a phone call received by His Highness the Amir on Tuesday from the French president.
During the call, the French president expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir for Qatar's contribution to securing the organisation of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, while His Highness the Amir expressed his wishes for the success of the friendly French Republic in organizing the Olympic events.
