Aditya Vivek, a student from MES Indian School (MESIS) Abu Hamour branch, was part of the Qatari team that participated in the International Physics Olympiad 2024 held in Moscow, Russia.

The prestigious event was organised by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with support from the Russian Ministry of Education, with theaim to showcase students’ skills, abilities and knowledge in theoretical and applied physics.

Aditya Vivek was awarded an honorary certificate and a Diamond Excellence Award for his outstanding performance. MESIS Principal Pramila Kannan, along with the school management, expressed their pride and heartfelt congratulations on Aditya’s remarkable achievement.

The participating Qatari team, which included Aditya Vivek, consisted of five students. They were trained by the physics instructors at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s Educational Guidance Department. The team underwent several elimination stages under the supervision of competent international and local trainers specialising in physics.
