ASTAD, Qatar's leading project management consultancy, is the first firm in the Middle East to be certified for ISO 45001:2018, Occupational Health & Safety Standard, by Bureau Veritas (BV), one of the foremost independent third party accredited certification bodies in the world with a focus in the areas of quality, health, safety, environment and social responsibility.
Engineer Ali al Khalifa, chief executive officer of ASTAD, received the certification for ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 at an event recently.
Speaking on the occasion, Khalifa said,"At ASTAD, we strive to deliver projects to the highest standards while exceeding client expectations. With this, we are always working to improve our performance by ensuring we provide a safe and healthy working environment throughout all of our projects. This certification is a testament to our commitment to meet world-class standards in quality, health, safety and environment through innovative policies and procedures and a robust and fully integrated management system."
