Are you one of the fans of the Filipino rock band, ‘The Itchyworms’, who are feeling the ‘itch’ to watch the band perform live in Qatar?

The good news is – the group is coming to Doha to rock your summer like no other. However, ticket holders have to wait a little bit longer as the show that was slated for July 19, 2024, will now be held on August 30 at the same venue – Holiday Inn Hotel - Doha.

Announcement

The concert producer, Amari Events Management, issued a public announcement on the concert postponement, stating:

“We understand the disappointment this may cause and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and any possible disruption to your plan as we share the same sentiments.

This decision was made after receiving a notification from the Ministry due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

As your dedicated organizers, our commitment is to craft an exceptional event, while adhering to ministries directives to ensure the attendees experience unforgettable moments filled with joy and excitement.

Rest assured that your current tickets will be replaced accordingly with new ones with updated concert details.

We greatly appreciate your patience as we navigate these adjustments, and we look forward to welcoming you to an unforgettable concert experience.

We hope to see you on August 30, 2024.”

Meet The Itchyworms

One of the Philippine’s most successful and top-selling bands for over a decade, “The Itchyworms is composed of Jazz Nicolas on Lead Vocals, Drums and Piano, Jugs Jugueta on Co-Lead Vocals, Keys and Guitars, Kelvin Yu on Bass Guitars, Chino Singson on Lead Guitars, Weckl Mercado on Guitars, and Mikey Amistoso on Guitars and Keys.

An Original Pilipino Music (OPM) mainstay since 1996, the band popularized Filipino hits like “Akin Ka Na Lang” and “Salapi,” which were used for TV commercials. The group has established millions of followers worldwide with their self-composed songs.

Concert Details

The show is set to feature local bands and artists including Marthylda Jameel Flores, Karen Aguba, Topi-Tanghalang Overseas Pinoy, Moxies, Asterisk, Trix, Sober, Tsirub, Singko Rekta, Glass Onion, and Sons of Edu.

Aimed at uniting esteemed artists and members of the Filipino community in Qatar, the event promises to be an evening of music, culture, and camaraderie, featuring Philippine band icons. It also pays tribute to the hard work and dedication of everyone contributing to Doha’s vibrant

community.

Doors will open at 12:30 PM with a series of exciting activities and entertainment. The main show will start at 7:00 PM.

Tickets are pegged at 350 QAR for Gold VIP category (Seated with Fan Merchandise, Meet and Greet and Photo Op), 250 QAR for Silver (Standing with Fan Kit and Merchandise) and 150 QAR for General Admission

(Standing).
