Rome: AC Milan have announced the signing of Spain’s Euro 2024-winning captain Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid. The 31-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a deal with the Rossoneri that lasts until June 30, 2028 and has the option of an extra year. Morata, who started his career at Real Madrid, already has experience of Serie A having had two spells at Juventus. He has also played for Chelsea during a career that has seen him make a combined 506 appearances while scoring 172 goals, as well as winning a host of trophies including the Champions League, LaLiga and Serie A twice each. Morata has also won 80 caps for Spain, scoring 36 goals, and led his country to Euro 2024 victory. (PA Media/DPA)
