DOHA: The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced that several clinics and services from Al Wakra Health Center will be relocated to other health centres in the central region, as part of the centre's regular maintenance work.

This temporary reassignment is essential to ensure the continuity of care provided to patients registered in the health centre during the maintenance and development phases as per the schedule, PHCC said.

The initial phase will see the relocation of dental services and health card registration services between July 18 to 28, with dental services offered at Al Mashaf and Airport health centres, and health card registration services at Airport, Rawdat Al Khail and Al Thumama health centres.

During the second phase, from July 28 to August 6, patients will be redirected to Al Mashaf and Airport health centres to access optometry and ophthalmology services.

The third phase, spanning August 6 to 15, will see the transfer of well-baby services to Al Mashaf Health Center, along with the availability of pharmacy, radiology, and panorama services at Al Mashaf, Airport, Rawdat Al Khail, and Al Thumama health centres.

In addition, South Al Wakra Health Center has been assigned to provide ultrasound services, while Rawdat Al Khail Health Center has been assigned to offer early detection services for breast and bowel cancer.

PHCC is committed to delivering the highest quality healthcare services, and routine maintenance work is an integral part of its efforts to develop and modernize all its health centres.
