As part of the ongoing consular outreach initiatives, the Indian Embassy in Qatar, in partnership with the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), successfully organised a Special Consular Camp on Friday, July 19, at Amwaj Camp, Mesaieed. The event saw the provision of approximately 72 consular services to the Indian expatriate community.

The camp, aimed at facilitating easier access to essential consular services, was well-received by the community members who gathered at the venue. Services offered included passport renewals, attestations, and various other consular needs, ensuring that the expatriate community in Qatar remains well-supported.

In a statement, the ICBF expressed its gratitude for the support received from Amwaj Management. "We extend our sincere gratitude to Amwaj Management for graciously providing the venue and steadfast support, which greatly contributed to the event’s success,” the statement read.

The issued passports from the camp will be delivered on August 2 from 9am to 10am at the same location, ensuring that the community members can conveniently collect their documents. "The Indian Embassy and ICBF remain committed to organising more Special Consular Camps, ensuring continuous access to essential services and support for Qatar’s Indian expatriate community,” the statement further added.

This initiative is part of a broader effort by the Indian Embassy and ICBF to make consular services more accessible to the Indian community residing in Qatar, reflecting their ongoing commitment to the welfare and support of their nationals abroad. The success of the camp highlights the strong partnership between the Indian Embassy, ICBF, and local management entities like Amwaj, working collaboratively to serve the needs of the Indian community in Qatar.
