AMMAN: A new shipment of Qatari aid, including 55 tonnes of tents and health supplies, provided by the Qatar Development Fund, arrived in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan by land, in preparation for its entry into the Gaza Strip in cooperation with the Hashemite Jordanian Charity Organization.

The shipment was received by Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lulwah bint Rashid Al Khater.

She witnessed the unloading of the shipment in the warehouses of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization.

The arrival of the shipment was witnessed by Dr Sufyan Al-Qudah, Official Spokesperson and Director of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Dr Hussein Al-Shabli, Secretary-General of the Hashemite Jordanian Charity Organization.

The Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the efforts of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization in facilitating the flow of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

The official spokesman and director of operations and consular affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, praised Qatar's role in providing humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the cooperation between the two countries in delivering it to those besieged in the Strip.

Since last October, Qatar Charity and Qatar Red Crescent have continued to provide humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization.

This aid comes within the framework of Qatar's support for the brotherly Palestinian people,and its full support for them during the difficult humanitarian circumstances they are currently facing.
