PARIS: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended the opening ceremony of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games 'Paris 2024', which was held at Trocadero Square in the French capital, Paris, on Friday evening.
His Highness the Amir also witnessed the sports delegations participating in the Olympics as they crossed the Seine River by boat, including the Qatari team.
The Qatari delegation includes five participating sports federations with 14 athletes in athletics, volleyball, shooting, weightlifting and swimming.
