Interior minister reviews Paris Olympics security

Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani on Monday met with Minister of the Interior and Overseas Territories of the French Republic HE Gerald Darmanin. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in security fields and ways to cement and develop them. The two sides also discussed the State of Qatar’s participation in supporting and securing the 33rd Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024. Later, Sheikh Khalifa visited the headquarters of the Qatari security force participating in securing the Paris 2024 Olympics. He met with several officials and security leaders participating in securing the Paris Olympics, where he was briefed on the latest developments regarding the participation of the Qatari security force and the progress of work at the main operations center for the security of the Olympic Games.
