FIFA president Gianni Infantino has praised Qatar’s achievements in sports, especially the dazzling success of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Qatar’s winning of the 2023 Asian Cup title, Qatar’s winning bid to host the FIFA U-17 World Cup after the FIFA Council awarded the State of Qatar in March to hold the tournament for five consecutive editions.
