Following the success of its ‘Men’s Mental Health Awareness’ event, Gulf Good Vibes, an African community initiative in Doha, will hold an event themed ‘Thrive Together: Empowering Minds for a Better Tomorrow’. This aims to unite the African community in Doha through discussions on mental health, career development, financial wellness, and family well-being.

This event is scheduled for August 2 at the Qatar Charity Hall, New Salata, from 5pm.

In partnership with the Kenyan Community in Doha and supported by Qatar Charity, the Ministry of Labour, MoPH, the Kenyan Embassy in Qatar, BWI (Building and Wood Workers’ International), and NHRC, Gulf Good Times organised the Men’s Mental Health Forum last month. The forum brought together clinical psychologists, doctors, community leaders, and youth representatives to discuss the impacts and solutions to men’s mental health issues. The event also inspired other communities, like Bangladeshi, to organise similar training on heat stress and mental health.

Gulf Good Vibes is a dedicated platform to promote mental health awareness and foster a supportive mental health buddy system within the African community.
