MOSCOW: Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met on Tuesday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation HE Sergei Lavrov.
They discussed relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them. They also discussed several regional and international issues, especially the developments of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
Lavrov thanked Qatar for its efforts to reunite children with their families, as part of its ongoing mediation to reunite families separated by the Russian-Ukrainian crisis.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Russia HE Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Thani.
