Aspire Zone Foundation organised its second visit for children participating in its summer camp to Qatar Rail on Tuesday and Wednesday, July 30 and 31. This visit is part of a series of trips included in the ‘Explore Doha Metro’ programme covering both Sports City and Msheireb stations.
The tour began at Sports City Station, where a video was shown explaining how to use tickets to enter the station and follow safety and security instructions for boarding and alighting, as well as guidelines for standing and sitting on the train. At Msheireb Station, the children visited the main control room, where the control and monitoring screens were explained to them. The tour concluded with a speech from the tour guide on the importance of using the metro and its impact on protecting the environment.
This edition of the camp comes in partnership with the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum 321, Rail Company, Sports Lab Academy, Get Started Sports Centre, Al-Hadaf Shooting Range, Marial Water Park, and Ocean Medical Centre.
