The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has launched a new pre-registration service on the Metrash2 application.
Select Travel Date and Time feature has been added to the pre-registration service at the Abu Samra Port. The service aims to speed up the process for travellers through the Abu Samra border
"As part of improving services, the pre-registration service at the Abu Samra Port has been updated on the Metrash2 application by adding a ‘Select Travel Date and Time’ field to facilitate and speed up the service,” the ministry said in social media post on X platform.
To use this new feature, users need to select ‘Pre-registration for Abu Samra Border’ on Metrash2, and then choose either entry or exit.
They need to provide information about the vehicle, driver, and passengers before selecting the desired travel date and time.
