THE Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' will implement a minor traffic detour on Bu Erayyen Street in Luaib Area for two months on August 5 (Sunday).
The temporary diversion is aimed at enabling upgrade works on Bu Erayyen Street.
Ashghal, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic, will close the traffic coming from the southbound lanes on Bu Erayyen Street to Luaib Area, as shown on the attached map.
During the traffic change, travellers heading towards Luaib Area via Bu Erayyen Street can continue their journey on Bu Erayyen Street then turn right onto Al Samriya Street, located 220 metres from the closed access. Travellers heading from Luaib Area towards Bu Erayyen Street can use Al Samriya Street, then turn right onto Sanaya Street towards Rasheeda Street and turn left at Lekhwiya Roundabout onto Erayyen Street.
Ashghal will install the signage necessary to guide the drivers.
Meanwhile, the authority has urged road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the traffic instructions for their safety.
