Qatar Charity (QC) has constructed several mosques in various regions of Pakistan. Among its latest achievements are the inauguration of a mosque in the Central Jail Peshawar, a mosque in the Shangla district, and another in the Sanghar district.

Mosques are built in areas that are in dire need of dedicated prayer spaces like the Central Jail Peshawar. The mosque in Sanghar was built to address the critical lack of worship facilities in the area where residents previously had to go to neighbouring villages to perform their prayers.

Each mosque has been fully outfitted with carpets, water coolers, and copies of the Holy Quran, ensuring a comfortable worship environment. Additionally, clean drinking water is also provided to meet the needs of the worshipers.

The residents have regarded these mosques as the most beautiful gift from the donors of Qatar, as they provide a comfortable and peaceful environment for their prayers.

Qatar Charity constructed the mosque in the Central Jail Peshawar, as it had previously lacked a dedicated prayer space. The mosque has been fully equipped with all necessary amenities, and this initiative has been met with great appreciation from the jail authorities.

“We are deeply grateful to Qatar Charity for providing this beautiful and state-of-the-art mosque,” said Usman Mehsud, Inspector General of Prisons Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “This mosque meets our essential need for daily and Jummah prayers. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Qatar Charity and the generous donors for their support.”

Waseem Khan, Superintendent of Central Jail Peshawar, said, “Qatar Charity has given us a beautiful gift. The mosque is fully furnished with everything necessary, including prayer rugs, carpets, and copies of the Holy Quran.”

Badal Rajar, a community elder, stated, “This mosque is a divine blessing for our community. It is a large and well-equipped facility that meets all our needs. We are deeply grateful to Qatar Charity and its donors for this wonderful gift.”
