The Embassy of India in Qatar, in collaboration with the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), is set to organise a Special Consular Camp at the Galfar Office Zekreet in Dukhan, located opposite the Qatar Red Crescent Workers Health Office. The camp will take place on August 9 from 9am to 11am, offering a range of essential consular services to the Indian expatriate community.

The Special Consular Camp will provide a comprehensive suite of services, including:

• Passport Services: Renewal and related services.

• Attestation Services: Attestation of documents.

• Police Clearance Certificate (PCC): Issuance and related services.

The Indian Embassy has issued a statement urging attendees to bring photocopies of all necessary documents when submitting their applications to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

To further assist the community, help with online form filling will be available starting at 8am. This early start aims to accommodate those who may need extra time to complete their applications.

During the camp, labor issues will also be addressed, providing a platform for expatriate workers to discuss and seek solutions for their concerns. Additionally, the ICBF will have an insurance desk available, offering guidance and support related to insurance matters.

The Embassy has announced that renewed passports will be delivered at the same venue on August 16 from 9 am to 10 am. This follow-up session ensures that applicants can conveniently collect their new passports without any delay.

In a continued effort to support the Indian expatriate community, the ICBF conducted a heat stress awareness campaign on August 2 at Kanjani Hall. This campaign aimed to educate and benefit expatriate workers, highlighting the importance of staying safe and healthy during the extreme summer temperatures in Qatar.

The upcoming Special Consular Camp in Dukhan represents a significant effort by the Indian Embassy and ICBF to provide essential services and support to the Indian community in Qatar. By addressing critical needs such as passport renewal, document attestation, and labor issues, the camp underscores the commitment of both organisations to the well-being and welfare of Indian expatriates.

Attendees are encouraged to take advantage of these services and ensure they bring all necessary documentation to facilitate a smooth and efficient process.
